What is phytotherapy?

How do I use it?

The supplement can be applied on feed, wet cans and BARF. If our dog eats feed, the ideal is to previously mix the supplement with water creating a paste and then add it to the feed. With BARF and wet cans it can be mixed directly.

Ingredients

Grass: The common grass of all life has great properties and they know it and that is why they eat it. The potassium salts give it clear diuretic and cleansing effects. It neutralizes the infection of the urinary ducts, prevents fluid retention, also prevents kidney stones and nephritic colic. 

Horsetail: A plant known for everything and great for its natural silica content to aid the growth of connective tissue in our dogs, helping to repair damaged tissue. Well known for its diuretic properties, it is used for urinary tract infections. It has many other functions, but it is generally used as a natural anti-inflammatory and diuretic. 

Bearberry: Bearberry leaves contain a substance called arbutoside. This substance has remarkable antibacterial properties against E-coli, the pathogen responsible for many urinary tract infections. 

Crushed milk thistle seeds: Its most important active principle is silymarin, a complex of flavonoids formed by a mixture of molecules. Silymarin protects the liver cell against hepatotoxic agents, reduces congestion and hypertrophy of the liver, and acts as a hepatovesicular drain. In addition to stimulating appetite, it favors bile secretion, and has phlebotonic action, thereby improving circulation in cases of portal obstruction.

Licorice root: It is one of the oldest medicines, both for its digestive properties, helping digestion and improving colic. It also has a proven antidepressant effect so it will give an extra to your best friend in adulthood. 

Artichoke: this relative of thistles facilitates the elimination of liquids, facilitates digestion, stimulates the production of bile in the liver and facilitates its exit to the intestine from the gallbladder.

Green nettle: It has diuretic properties as well as great anti-inflammatory properties. Its folic acid and chlorophyll strengthen the immune system and relieve stress. It also alleviates fatigue and reduces arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Sarsaparilla: In addition to its purifying effects, helping to eliminate toxins from the body, it is indicated to combat the different impurities of the skin, the appearance of eczema or boils, hives and dermatosis. 

Marshmallow: It is essential for the gastrointestinal and renal system, it works by toning, lubricating and protecting the tissues and mucous membranes of the digestive system, in addition to other properties, it is effective in the treatment of different urinary problems such as cystitis, kidney stones and urinary infections for its emollient and anti-inflammatory properties as well as having diuretic properties.

Sweet Chamomile: it is a highly valued medicinal plant used throughout humanity, and it is the basis of the fiber of many feed, even if you do not believe it. Its flower is digestive, carminative and relaxing, it prevents gas formation, calms the nerves and helps digestion with diuretic properties.

Thyme: Thyme is an herb with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help clean the bladder in case of urinary tract infections.

Composition

Recommended daily feeding

Along with the bottle comes a measuring spoon.

Mini dogs (up to 5 Kg of weight): 1 teaspoon included per day.

Small dogs (5 to 10 kg): 2 to 3 teaspoon included per day.

Medium dogs (10 to 25 Kg): 3 to 4 teaspoon included per day.

Medium dogs (more than 25 Kg): 4 to 5 teaspoon included per day.

Recommendation

Not suitable for cats, dogs under 1 year of age or for pregnant or nursing dogs. Once opened, keep closed in a dry and cool place for a maximum of 12 months.
