Vitamin A, D and E

Vitamin A is involved in vision, bone growth, and reproduction. Its fundamental role is the maintenance of the epithelia, such as the skin and the membranes of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts.

Dogs are capable of converting carotenoids into vitamin A, but since cats do not have this type of enzyme, the contribution of this vitamin through foods of animal origin is important.

Vitamin D is a group of compounds that regulate calcium and phosphorus in the body. This vitamin can be absorbed through the rays of sunlight or ingested by some foods such as wild salmon oil.

Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect on the body. Its antioxidant effect is exerted in this case, on polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are the structures of the organism most vulnerable to oxidation.

Its food deficiency could lead to an aging process, faster and to a greater difficulty in the reproduction process.
